Gangotri Package @ 12500/-PP
Situated at an altitude of 3,048, on the banks of the holy river Bhagirathi, Gangotri is considered the second Dham in the Chardham package.
It is the highest and the most important shire of the goddess Ganga. The present temple was built by Amar Singh Thgaumukh is 18 km from Gangotri and can only be reached by a trek route.
Gangotri offers scenic vistas of gushing water,
rugged terrain, and the snow-clad Himalayas. Gangotri holds a very important place in Hindu Mythology. It is believed that Lord Shiva received
Ganga in his matted locks when the river descended from Heaven to Earth.
There is a natural rock shivling submerged underwater and can be seen easily in winter when the water levels decrease. The Gangotri temple is closed on the day of Diwali for the winter because the region receives heavy snowfalls and becomes inaccessible. The temple is opened in May.
Gangotri Package (4 Nights / 5 Days)
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar. (230Kms / 6-7Hrs drive) The morning starts your journey and transfers to Haridwar.Evening visit "Ganga Ceremony" at Har Ki Pauri.
Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar - Uttarkashi. (230Kms / 3-4Hrs drive)
The morning after breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi.
Visit Kashi Vishwanath temple and Prakateshwar Mahadev.
Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 03: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (200Kms / 7-8Hrs drive).
The morning after breakfast, drive for Gangotri.
Visit on the way places like Tapt Kund (Hot water spring) and Harshil Village (Beautiful Valley).
Visit Gangotri temple and later drive back to Uttarkashi.
Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 04: Uttarkashi - Haridwar (230 Kms / 5-6 Hrs drive)
The morning after breakfast drive for Haridwar.
Visit on the way places like Chamba, and Tehri Lake.
Overnight at a hotel in Haridwar.
Day 05: Haridwar - Delhi (230 Kms / 6-7 Hrs drive)
The morning after breakfast visit Daksh Temple, Shri Yantra Temple, and Maya Devi Temple.
Later drive towards Delhi.
Evening dropping at Delhi.
